More than 45 million Americans suffer from venous diseases. Twenty five percent of women and fifteen percent of men have the disease, while only three percent of these patients have ever been treated.

The French Art Colony, regional multi-arts center, in Gallipolis, is featuring the paintings of Jan Haddox in the exhibit, “Personalities of the Ohio River Valley in the 1700’s”, on display through June 18.
“Better late than never”, is Haddox’s motto, as he began creating his historically inspired works after retiring from being a public school educator and administrator in the West Virginia public school system. “After retiring, I decided I would combine my interest in history, story telling and what talent I might have as an artist and through my paintings tell the story of the men and women who roamed the western Virginia frontier in the mid to late 1700’s”, explains Haddox.
