God’s Hands At Work is operating on an Emergency Status only at this time. To help prevent the spread of the virus the Service Center is not open to the public. The Service Center is currently not accepting donations of furniture or household items nor are those items being donated to the public. However, services are still available for emergency food boxes, diapers, wipes and baby formula. Those in need can call 740-645-7609 and pickup items needed on St Rt 160, near the hospital, for your convenience, instead of having to travel all the way to Vinton. Directions will be given over the phone.
Additionally, the Service Center is still accepting donations of food, personal hygiene items, cleaning supplies, baby food, formula, diapers (especially sizes 4, 5, and 6), and wipes. The pantry is extremely low right now due to the crisis, but they will continue to offer resources as long as supplies last. Monetary donations are welcome as well.
Thanks!
Lisa Carroll, Director
